This picture shows a great ape
very that can only be found in
Africa.
Summary: In The Republic of
Congo there is a national park
called Nouabale-Ndoki
National Park. It is a rainforest
that is high in bio-diversity.
That includes elphants, gorillas,
chimpanzees, and monkeys. The government is planning to expand the rainforest
by 8%, and place a buffer zone around the park to stop poachers.
Opinion/Reflection:
I found it ironic the day after we study Bio-Diversity I find this article. I found it
interesting because I love the rainforest, and mokeys.
Questions:
What does high bio-diversity mean?
What is a buffer zone?
What is a couple animals that live in the park?
I will answer Question Number 1 which is "What does high bio-diversity mean?" and It means that there is a high amount of animal population in a specific area.
ReplyDeleteTo answer number 2: A buffer zone is a perimeter around the park which protects it. It did not specify in the article, but i believe it is a physical fence to keep unwanted people out and to mark the area as protected
ReplyDeleteFor question number three there is a high biodiversity in the rain forest that includes animals like monkeys, chimpanzees, elephants and gorillas.
